Apple iPhone X: Why to buy it? (Features, Specs & Comparison)

What is so different about iPhone X? Is it worth buying? Should we buy iPhone 8 plus or iPhone x? What are the drawbacks? These questions arise naturally if you step out to buy an iPhone. But don’t worry we have compiled all the data, analyzed all the positives and negatives and presented you in the best way possible.

So we start with the best feature which comes along with this iPhone x.

There is no Home button in IPhone X as there was in all the previous models. So you would be thinking how does it work then? Well, home screen is replaced by different intuitive gestures. Familiar gestures make navigation look natural and intuitive. Instead of pressing a button, a single swipe takes you home from anywhere. Thus which means iPhone X gets used to the way your finger works.

iPhone X has one of the largest display (at 5.8 inches diagonally) introduced in an iPhone yet, and it is a bezel-less phone aside from a notch supporting the camera and sensors, it fits comfortably in the hand. At 143.6mm tall by 70.9mm wide by 7.7mm deep, it’s not much bigger than an iPhone 8, and it’s smaller than an iPhone 8 Plus.

iPhone x introduces A11 Bionic processor which is the most powerful and smartest chip ever in a smartphone, with a neural engine that’s capable of up to 600 billion operations per second. So you run all your game and heavy software with ease.

And with the processor, we have improved CPU.The four efficiency cores in the all‑new CPU are up to 70 percent faster than A10 Fusion. And the two performance cores are up to 25 percent faster.

The edge-to-edge top-to-bottom Super Retina display adopts OLED technology for true-to-life colors, deep blacks, and a million-to-one contrast ratio. It features a 2436 x 1125 resolution and 458 pixels per inch, the highest resolution and pixel density ever introduced in an iPhone. It supports HDRwide color3D Touch, and True Tone for adjusting the white balance of the display to match the ambient lighting.

In the back, iPhone X features a vertical back camera with Larger and faster 12-megapixel wide angles and telephoto camera (both with OIS). Wide-angle camera having aperture ƒ/1.8 and Telephoto camera having a ƒ/2.4 aperture. iPhone x outstand from its previous model in terms of Dual OIS. Both rear cameras have optical image stabilization and fast lenses for outstanding photos and videos even in low light. Together both the cameras enable optical zoom, as well as digital zoom of up to 10x for photos and 6x for videos.

Talking about the front camera it has portrait mode to create beautiful selfies with sharp foregrounds and blurred backgrounds and a new feature of portrait mode enables to have studio-quality lighting effects.

And future is here with iPhone X FACE ID. Your face is now your password. And not to forget Face ID is a secure and private new way to unlock and authenticate. In all the previous version we have touch Id but this time iPhone X introduces face id. So how doesn’t work? Face ID is enabled by the TrueDepth camera and is simple to set up. It projects and analyzes more than 30,000 invisible dots to create a precise depth map of your face. So it can’t be fooled by your picture to open your phone.

One of the most fun features of iPhone X is ANIMOJI. The front camera of the phone analyses more than 50 different muscle movements to mirror your expression in moving and facial tracking emoji. There are total 12 different animoji available in iPhone X and we can expect to have more in the future updates. So reveal your inner panda, pig or robot. If you send this to someone and they too receive an Animoji then well, they too own an iPhone X and but if they receive only a video message, then they don’t own an iPhone. So it’s something you can boast of.

iPhone x is the future of wireless. Charge your phone with no charging cable but with wireless charging stations and mats in hotels, cafés and airports around the world.

Okay, we know nothing is perfect so iPhone X isn’t perfect too. It too has some drawbacks. We have listed them down for you:

GLASS DESIGN: iPhone X comes with all glass on the back and hence chances to break is more when compared to previous models

NOTIFICATION: iPhone x doesn’t group all the notification Well, we know we have this problem in all iPhone’s but since its 2017 and we expect things to change.

Headphone jack: No Headphone jack

But these drawbacks and shortcomings are way too less when compared to all the task iPhone x can perform. So advantages outweigh disadvantages and hence if you are planning to buy iPhone X then surely go for it.
